One iron. All the way to the cup.

A magnetic putter face that snaps onto your iron in seconds, so you can putt with the same club you hit all round. Hand-cast in Colorado.

One-club golf is one iron, a sleeve of balls, and a few hours on a par 3 or executive course. No fourteen-club bag, no club selection on every shot. The one shot it never handled well was the putt: a 30-degree iron face launches a ball, it doesn't roll one. This is the piece that finishes the round.

You walk up to your ball on the green, hold the attachment flat against the face of your iron, and the magnets pull it into place. A short slide to set alignment and the club in your hand has a flat putter face. You putt, pull it off, and walk to the next tee. The whole sequence takes a few seconds.

How you use it

  1. Wipe the back clean, then hold it flat against the face of your iron. The magnets pull it into place.
  2. Putt. Pendulum stroke, choke down if you want, roll it in.
  3. Pull it straight off and drop it in your pocket or waist bag.

What it is

  • Faceplate: bead-blasted SS304 stainless steel, 4.7 mm thick, bonded flat to the body. The matte finish rolls a ball cleanly off contact instead of skidding.
  • Body: cast urethane, hand-poured in small batches, sanded and clear-coated.
  • Magnets: epoxy-coated neodymium, recessed into the back so the body meets your club, not metal. It does not wobble, slide, or come off mid-stroke. It comes off when you pull it off.
  • Weight: 5.45 oz (154 g)
  • Size: 3.8" long × 1.3" wide × 1.5" high (97 × 33 × 39 mm)
  • Designed on a 7-iron at 32 degrees of loft; best on the mid-irons (6, 7, 8). Clips onto any iron with a steel face. Not for use on a putter.
  • Colors: Green, Light Gray, Obsidian.
  • Hand-cast in Colorado, USA.
  • Patent pending.

Ships in a mesh pouch.

Safety

For putting only. Remove before any other swing. The attachment can fly off at high speed and cause serious injury. Never chip, pitch, or take a full swing with it installed.

Contains strong neodymium magnets. Keep fingers clear of the gap when attaching to avoid pinching. Keep away from pacemakers and other implanted medical devices, loose metal objects, credit cards, and electronics. Keep out of reach of small children.

Shipping and warranty

Free U.S. shipping, ships in 1 to 3 business days, international calculated at checkout. 30-day return on unused units. 1-year warranty on magnet bond and faceplate adhesion. Email aj@oneclubninja.com.

FAQ

What is one-club golf?
A full round with a single club, usually a 7-iron, for tee shots, approaches, chips, and putts. Most often played on par 3 or executive courses. It's not a gimmick. People have played this way for decades, and it usually moves faster than a full-bag group.

Will it scratch my club?
No. The magnets are recessed and never touch your club. Just wipe the back (the side with the magnets) clean before attaching so trapped dirt doesn't scratch.

How strong is the hold?
Strong enough that you feel it pull into place. It does not wobble, slide, or fall off during a normal putting stroke, and comes off cleanly when you pull it straight off.

Is it legal for tournament play?
It's not USGA-conforming for competition. For casual rounds, par 3 courses, executive courses, and one-club golf, no one's stopping you. For a USGA-rated event, use a real putter.

So impressed with how this feels in the hand/on the club. I’m not sure what sort of technology AJ infuses into this mold but I’ve been automatic with this thing.

I really like the weight of the club compared to my standard putter. The magnet used to attach the putter to the club is very strong and feels nice and secure when “installed”.

If you’re curious about this product at all I’d 100% recommend pulling the trigger and ordering one. You will not be disappointed. The only risk you run is realizing that you probably have way more clubs than you actually “need”.

If you are like me and carry your clubs and want to reduce weight you should start with the heaviest club which is your putter. Putter and cover weigh 1.5#, this is under .5#. Played multiple rounds with no change in score and multiple birdies to boot! Just line up the putt, put the same good swing on the One Club Ninja and your friends look in disbelief! If you are into golf for fun, dump the ego, the Scotty, the LAB and all the other junk they tell you you need to buy. Do it with skill and the Ninja. Golf is about fun. Go make it fun and don't drink the Coolaid!
